First Community Corporation, a bank holding company registered under the
Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, was incorporated under the laws of South
Carolina in 1994 primarily to own and control all of the capital stock of First
Community Bank, N.A., which commenced operations in August 1995. On October 1,
2004, we completed our acquisition of DutchFork Bancshares, Inc. and its
wholly-owned subsidiary, Newberry Federal Savings Bank. During the second
quarter of 2006, we completed our acquisition of DeKalb Bankshares, Inc., the
holding company for The Bank of Camden. We engage in a

and our 11 full-service offices are located in Lexington (two), Forest Acres,
